Manufacturing
The manufacturing division consist out of different departments with a local and/ or EMEA responsibility:
Procurement takes care of the setup and maintenance of the supply chain for production parts. They select new suppliers & negotiate prices of parts. Continuous improvement on parts cost is key to keep our product cost under control. In addition to the local procurement team, there is a collaboration with the European procurement team which is working on the centralized buying of production parts for the main factories in Europe.
Manufacturing planning is the budget planning & follow up department of the total division. They keep track of required investments, expenditure and other resources to meet the forecasted production plan. They also calculate & follow up on the costs of units during the development & manufactured products.
