The responsibilities of the Business Planner among others will include:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities within the HVAC-R industry.
  • Assimilate information from multiple stakeholders to summarize the big picture and provide recommendations to drive and enhance business performance.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to understand business situation and develop data driven insights and KPIs to support future estimates, measure performance and drive sustainable growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Sales as well as external partners to foster collaboration and drive consensus on strategic priorities.
  • Ensure that strategic priorities and long term planning is aligned with mid and short term priorities.
  • Develop and maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly dashboards, reports, written recaps and presentations that communicate business performance, insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to the forecasting process in a timely and accurate manner, by gathering and combining data (budget, historical data, market trends) from departments involved and performing a detailed break-down in cooperation with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and accuracy of data.
  • Assist with the budget preparation; analyzing data collected and combining them with all available information (such as historical data, information on new products, prices, sales volumes, etc.).

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • MSc or MBA in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data mining, modeling, and analytical methodologies.
  • Experienced manipulating data with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office is required.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP will be a plus.
  • Excellent command of the English language.

  • Aptitude for numbers and advanced analytical skills.
  • Able to understand strategic business challenges and use analytical approaches to breakdown the detail into tangible actions to meet business objectives.
  • Ability to communicate with key stakeholders at multiple levels and functions, such as when gathering information, persuading, communicating options, or resolving issues.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a passion for excellence.
  • Market awareness; someone who can understand trends, consumer behavior, and is able to conduct a competitive landscape analysis.
  • Ambassador across the organization for best practices in Business Planning in general.
