The responsibilities of the Customer Service Administrator role among others will include:

  • Serve as main point of contact for customers and ensure a seamless customer journey by providing accurate information about Daikin’s products and services in a timely and efficient manner as well as the right guidance.
  • Perform order intake and maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries on availability of Daikin products and other issues as well as keep them up to date on the progress of their order and guide them to the most appropriate solution/alternative (if required).
  • Handle quotation process efficiently; generate, amend, handle and close sales quotes according to J-SOX and company guidelines.
  • Perform various sales support activities, such as customer rebates calculations, credit/debit notes, J-SOX and others as required.
  • Maintain customer support platforms and provide administrative support to the sales representatives, ensuring smooth sales operations.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks to contribute to the smooth operation of the customer service department.
  • Ad hoc duties within the Customer Service function, as and when required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • University Degree is required.
  • Up to 2 years of proven experience in a similar customer-centric role (e.g. secretariat, call centre, customer service department).
  • Background in either multinationals or mid-size companies will be preferred.
  • Computer literacy with Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Good working knowledge of the English language.
  • SAP and CRM experience will be a plus.

  • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written; able to clearly explain processes and procedures to internal and external customers.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority.
  • A problem solver, able to use their own initiative and hold themselves to a high standard of quality and quantity of work.
  • Proactive thinking but also willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
  • Ambassador across the organization for best practices in Customer Service in general.
