The responsibilities of the Logistics Administrator among others will include:
- Process purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries. Monitor and assess vendor performance based on delivery timelines, quality, and reliability.
- Update stakeholders on shipment status as well as anticipated delivery schedules and resolve any delays or issues (quality concerns, billing errors) that may occur.
- Monitor stock corrections, scrap, reverse logistics activities. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, purchase orders and backlogs; ensure the timely supply of materials and avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies (Cycle Counts included), in cooperation with the Logistics Team.
- Work closely with the purchasing, production, sales, and customer service teams to align supply chain activities with business needs (locally and Europe).
- Contribute to the definition of local and European requirements of the upcoming Logistics Project.
- Prepare accurate scheduled and ad hoc reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Assist with continuous improvement activities related to supply chain and logistics processes and procedures.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain.
- SAP experience and working knowledge of MS office.
- Working knowlege of the English language.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Highly analytical and strong problem-solver: someone who can develop solutions to routine problems following established Daikin policies and procedures. Involvement in team efforts to solve more complex or cross-functional problems.
- Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently with moderate supervision.
- Customer-focused, patient, flexible and committed. Able to represent the company to stakeholders and customers in a professional manner.
- Able to work well in a dynamic environment with a sizeable workload and multiple priorities.
- Proactive thinking but also willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Must display a high level of accuracy in work assignments, detail-oriented.
- Ambassador across the organization for best practices in Logistics and Supply Chain in general.
