Our IT Center EMEA counts 3 departments: IT Planning (PLAN), IT Development (BUILD) and IT Infrastructure (RUN). Within our IT Development department, we can distinguish 2 competence centres: Madrid and Ostend. You will be part of IT Development in Madrid. The IT Development department in Madrid consists of 50 people (internal & external) and an offshore team. The group is young and dynamic with a good team spirit and open communication structure. We implement innovative IT solutions for our 7500+ Daikin colleagues all over Europe & Middle East.

Which are the main functions/responsibilities of the role?

 

We are searching for a professional with depth technical knowledge of salesforce architecture, ideally in the areas of Community, Field service, Scheduling of the technicians, Maintenance Contracts and analytics tools. The candidate has to demonstrate experience in planning, organizing, and conducting development projects in an innovative and dynamic environment.

 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about simple and elegant as much as possible standard solutions and focus on improving performance.

 

  • Instil best practices for development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
  • Communicate with business, understands the process, and proposes good solutions going to an global proposals for all the affiliates.
  • Coordinate the collaboration with other departments and subcontractors; work closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
  • In order to identify the IT needs of an enterprise, you are expected to interview and collaborate with the different departments of business.
  • You are responsible for developing distributed system architecture and system integration.
  • It will be also part of your work to prepare budget for the design and execution of IT solutions.
  • You should ensure that technical and business components of the project are in harmony to meet the needs of the enterprise.

 

Which profile are we searching for? (education, background, specific knowledge required and experience)

 

  • You must have a minimum of Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, IT or Economy.
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum methodology in Project Management is a plus.
  • You should have at least 3-5 years of experience in similar roles, working experience as Salesforce developer providing customization, development, enhancement and support for Saleforce.com CRM Applications.
  • Ideally knowledge in Field service, Interface (web-service, relay server).
  • Should have hands on development experience with Apex, Visual Force pages design, Triggers, test class definition…
  • Should have thorough understanding of configuration options
  • Other knowledges related to CRM tools, SAP integration is a plus.

 

Which are the main skills needed for this position?

  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • Time Management and Organization skills: To be able to deliver projects within stipulated time, You are usually required to have sound time management skills. They ought to be good at planning and organizing projects as well.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High level of English is mandatory. ç
