Internal Service Sales Engineer

In Portugal, we are a sales subsidiary of the Daikin Europe Group. To strengthen our local team, we are looking for an Internal Service Sales Engineer | After Sales Department (M/F)

Reporting directly to the Service Business Department Supervisor, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Remote monitoring and diagnosis of equipment 
• Participation in Services & Solutions projects (Daikin on Site Remote Monitoring (DoS), Chiller Rental Service, Energy Audits and Equipment Modernisation
• Preparing technical and commercial service proposals
• Managing subcontractors and maintenance contracts
• Supporting technicians in the field, as well as scheduling and preparing services.

Our ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of experience in the role (experience in after-sales will be an advantage). More junior candidates may also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• You will work with a high degree of autonomy, and as such, you will be responsible for setting realistic deadlines for the completion of your tasks, ensuring rigorous follow-up of your activities.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is an important requirement (minimum B1), as well as computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
