Daikin Young Grad Program

Our young grad program is a unique opportunity for you to explore your interests, find your passion and develop your skills. In one and a half year, you will work in multiple Daikin departments and receive thorough training from team members. As a young graduate you can chose between the local and international young grad program. Both programs contain four different development paths, each composed out of three modules of six months during which you can explore three different departments within Daikin Europe and his affiliates. The international path is designed to go abroad after the young grad program or to take up an international role.

Examples of development paths

Manufacturing - Local young grad program

The purpose of this development path is to get acquainted with the production process of our products from start to finish. This development path will be shaped in a planning, operational or technical path, within the scope of which you will be able to:

  • Improve the production flow and quality of our products in one of the production supporting departments (for example: Production Engineering).

  • Be part of the after sales process in the spare parts and customer service department.

  • Get a more operational task in the factory as a member of our Monozokuri team (responsible for the improvement of the production process).

Corporate & Sales - International young grad program

  •  Support the coordination and execution of the strategy for Daikin in the entire EMEA region, via the implementation of the strategy into annual budgets, the implementation of corporate governance and internal controls in the group.

  • An international challenge that gives you the opportunity to get better insight in our international (sales) structure & to understand the local market needs.

"Becoming an International Trainee at Daikin gave me a head start in finding the best role for me at the company. The advantage of being an International Trainee is the opportunity to work with different departments, including our headquarters in Ostend, Belgium, and at affiliate offices abroad.”

Jonas, former International trainee, currently Ventilation manager @ Daikin Europe.
