Finance and Accounting

The financial and accounting activities of Daikin companies in EMEA are organised and supervised by Daikin Europe Coordination Centre N.V. (DECC), which is both the in-house bank and the administrative and financial services provider of the Daikin Europe group.  

Within an internationally diversified and strongly growing business environment, DECC represents Daikin Europe’s Centre Of Excellence for all corporate finance, treasury, accounting, tax and credit control topics. At the same time, DECC is also an important stakeholder for all major projects of corporate, economic and financial nature.

Some examples of DECC activities include designing, implementing and following up F&A policies, executing stand-alone and consolidated closings and reporting, funding and receiving deposits from Daikin companies, forecasting and following up cash-flows, financial risks management, setting transfer pricing policy, assisting business on tax relevant matters, direct and indirect tax compliance, supporting M&A and post-mergers integrations and leading F&A digital transformation initiatives (F&A ERP, dedicated F&A software, RPA, etc.).

Moreover, DECC team also monitors the daily operations of our F&A Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Poland, the Czech Republic and India, and supports the Daikin network in securing the correct functioning of the F&A processes covered by the SSC.
