At our European Development Center (EDC), located in the Tech Lane Ghent Science Park, we are hiring a Medior Software Solution Analyst for Software Development of Cloud Solutions.

As a Medior Software Solutions Analyst, you will acquire in-depth technical knowledge of the solutions we are building. Combined with a strong understanding of business requirements, you will use this knowledge to effectively guide our development partners. You will work primarily in an agile environment, and together with the project team, you will strive for the optimal balance between quality, cost, and timely delivery of product features.

Your Role

As a Medior Software Solution Analyst within our European Development Center, you will act as a technical expert, ensuring that requirements are accurately translated to our external partners.

It’s important to note that this role does not involve coding. Instead, you will oversee development activities to ensure that all deliverables meet the specified requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Formulate software and user interface specifications based on requirements gathered from stakeholders (business, architects, security, etc.).

• Communicate these requirements clearly to our external partners for development and testing.

• Take ownership of your assigned development tracks with our software suppliers. Prioritize tasks appropriately and follow up closely with the product owner to ensure that deliverables meet our expectations and standards.

• Act as the technical expert for the products you help develop. Provide third-line support by analyzing issues, proposing countermeasures, and ensuring timely implementation with the right priority.

• Stay up to date with technological advancements in your field and proactively propose how they can be integrated into our developments.

Your Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in Electronics or IT.

• You are passionate about software development.

• You have 2+ years of experience in a software development environment.

• You have a strong interest in, or proven experience with, topics such as Internet of Things, machine-to-machine communication, and app/web development.

• You are a team player who is driven to find solutions for technical requirements and client-specific requests.

• You are capable of conceptual thinking.

• You possess an innovative mindset.
