Your Role: Driving Marine Sales Operations
As our new Sales Administrator, you will take ownership of the day-to-day commercial and operational business within our Marine office. You will be the commercial spine of our standard equipment pipeline, ensuring seamless execution from initial customer touchpoint to final delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities:
-
Pre-Sales & Customer Advisory: Act as the primary point of contact for international customers regarding standard (made-to-stock) equipment. You qualify requests, check stock availability, calculate lead times, and proactively follow up on outstanding proposals.
-
Value-Driven Quoting: Prepare sharp commercial offers and actively identify opportunities for upselling or adding relevant equipment add-ons/accessories.
-
End-to-End Order Management: Supervise the entire order-to-delivery pipeline, ensuring accurate data entry, tracking logistics, and securing on-time delivery.
-
International Collaboration: Coordinate closely with our internal marine hubs and factories in Norway, Italy, and Japan to streamline cross-border orders.
-
Commercial Support & Clean Data: Proactively share product updates and event information with customers. Manage data integrity, such as troubleshooting and resolving bouncing communication channels/customer databases.
What Sets This Role Apart?
-
Autonomy & Variety: In our compact Hamburg office, you are not a number. You will enjoy a high degree of independence, a varied task portfolio, and room to optimize processes.
-
Global Impact, Local Culture: Work on landmark maritime projects in a culture that values collaboration, trust, and helpfulness. We bring out the best in each other.
-
Professional Growth: Benefit from the combined expertise of our Hamburg and Norway marine teams. We continuously invest in our employees' personal and professional development.
Your Profile
To thrive in this position, you combine commercial acumen with an affinity for technical products, working organized under pressure.
-
Education: Successfully completed commercial training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) or a relevant business degree, paired with a solid technical understanding.
-
Mindset: Highly independent, structured, and accurate. You possess a distinct sales-driven orientation and look for solutions, not just answers.
-
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; you enjoy building relationships with diverse B2B stakeholders.
-
Languages: Fluent in English (our internal and business language). German or other European languages are a strong asset.
-
Systems: Strong proficiency in MS Office. Practical knowledge of SAP or a similar CRM/ERP system is highly desirable.
