International HR - Expat Assignments Officer

Role:
As a member of the International Expat Assignment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful coordination of expatriate assignments throughout their entire lifecycle—before, during, and after the assignment.
Acting as the central point of contact for our international expats and impats, you will oversee assignments from the moment a position opens until the expat's return, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all involved.
In this role, you will engage with employees from across EMEA, giving you a truly international perspective.
Your responsibilities include:
- Legal and administrative tasks: Preparing and finalizing expat assignment contracts, salary packages, managing off-payroll expenses, payroll preparation, and providing advice and support on immigration and social security matters.
- Business partnership: Analysing business needs, assisting with internal candidate selection for expat assignments, overseeing career development, engaging in project work, and building networks with internal and external partners.
Team:
You’ll join a dedicated team of colleagues who manage a growing expats population. In addition to collaborating closely with your direct team, you’ll work intensively with other HR colleagues (HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal) and business leaders.
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Economics, International Politics, Law, or HR or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience. Tax background/knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in expatriate management is a strong plus.
- Genuine interest in payroll, taxation, and the legal aspects of international employment.
