Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.

Are you passionate about sustainability, tech innovation, and making a real impact? At Daikin Europe’s Environment Research Center (ERC), you’ll be at the forefront of shaping how our products and business respond to evolving European and national policies.

What You’ll Do?

• • Drive Change: You’ll research and advocate for policies and standards that influence everything from energy efficiency and circularity to electrification and carbon neutrality.
  • Work on What Matters: Projects range from ecodesign and energy labelling to emissions trading and smart grid connectivity—real-world issues that shape the future.
  • Explore Emerging Tech: We’re especially looking for people curious about IoT, AI, and electrification—how these technologies intersect with policy and sustainability and the HVACR sector.

PROFILE:

• • You hold a master’s diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in similar functions.
  • You have a strong interest in European Policies, regulations and standards and the influence of that on company business, technologies and strategies.
  • You like to engage with people. As a diplomatic person, you have good social and communicative skills.
  • You are learning-minded, work in a pro-active and punctual way, independently as well as in a team.
  • Konwledge of HVAC sector is a plus
  • Good knowledge of English is necessary.
  • Travelling is an essential part of the job.
  • Knowledge of other languages is a bonus.
