Production
The Production department is the largest division at the Güglingen site. It encompasses several production areas dedicated to the assembly of various components for indoor units of heat pumps. These include multiple different assembly lines and preparatory areas such as soldering stations. The primary responsibility of leadership positions in this department is to organize and plan the various assembly lines. This includes implementing standards that must be adhered to by the employees on the production lines. Information exchange within the department occurs through reporting and meetings, such as the Shopfloor Meeting, in which employees from the different lines participate. Additionally, analyses of deviations from target numbers and quality are conducted, followed by the determination and implementation of corrective actions. To achieve the desired goals, improvement measures are initiated using methods like Continuous Improvement (KVP) or 5-Why analyses.

There are also preventive maintenance measures and regular functional tests of the machines and equipment. Error analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnostics are also part of this scope, leading to a continuous improvement of the machinery and equipment.

The short-term production planning creates production schedules for different production lines based on the short-term availability of machinery, personnel, and materials. In the long-term production planning, requirements for the next 3-18 months are planned in collaboration with the European Daikin Supply Center. The master data department handles changes to bills of materials, planning-relevant master data, and report generation.
