On the other hand, changing installer and customer demands are taken into account.
The design of products and the preparation of technical drawings are central tasks of the EDC. The optimization for production, installation and maintenance are main focus areas. Various simulation tools and rapid prototyping methods are used for this purpose.

Software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop methods are used to develop new or further improve established control algorithms. The creation of test specifications and their validation criteria is also part of this field of activity.
