Administration Department Manager - for 2 years fix term (maternity cover)

As part of the Daikin Central Europe organization covering 16 countries, Daikin Hungary provides innovative, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly heating and cooling solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

 

In this strategic leadership role, you will lead and continuously improve the main administrative and business-support functions of Daikin Hungary. These include Commercial Customer Service, Credit Management, Office Administration, Purchasing, Digital Backoffice, and the Key Users of our core business systems.

 


Your main tasks will be the following:

 

Leadership & Organizational Development

•    Act as a member of the Daikin Hungary management team, contributing to short  and long term organizational development,
•    Demonstrate exemplary leadership aligned with Daikin’s People Centered Management (leadership and company cultural principles),
•    Manage a team of 12 professionals both in daily operation and long term strategic directions,
•    Foster a positive leadership culture built on empowerment, delegation, shared decision making, and continuous development.

 

Operational Excellence & Process Management

•    Lead and coordinate all administrative departments, ensuring efficient and compliant operations,
•    Oversee purchasing, order to delivery, and order to cash processes, supporting teams and monitoring performance,
•    Supervise office administration area (vendor invoices, customer contracts, facility management, etc.) and drive process and system improvements,
•    Ensure proper use of digital and online platforms within the Administration Department and partner organisation units,
•    Simplify, harmonize, and automate administrative processes in cooperation with other leaders.

 

Performance Management & Reporting

•    Define KPIs and targets for all administrative functions,
•    Ensure availability and accuracy of reports and performance measurements,
•    Prepare regular and ad hoc analyses for senior management,
•    Introduce cost saving initiatives and supervise budget related activities.

 

Procurement & Compliance

•    Oversee purchasing of materials and supplies for Service Department,
•    Maintain efficient supply and storage of tools and materials for Service Department,
•    Ensure the validity and continuous review of all relevant documentation, policies, and process descriptions.

 

People & Workplace Culture

•    Maintain a high quality working environment for the Team,
•    Demonstrate openness, calmness, role model in compliance and strong interpersonal collaboration.

What do we expect from you?


•    University or college degree.
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading administrative units with focus on improvement efficiency
•    At least 5 years’ experience in managing teams and complex processes in people management
•    Fluent, business level English.
•    Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
•    Experience with SAP system.
