Human Resources- Daikin in Belgium (EN)

The HR division of Daikin Europe is responsible for the EMEA & Local HR Strategy & operations and consists out of 3 main departments working closely together:  HR center of expertise, Strategic business partners and  Service center for employees.

The HR Center of Expertise drives change and innovation in Hr related matters. This team is focusing on people and organisation related policies and practices, providing future-proof solutions & best practices in order to develop and support the realisation of both business and HR goals.​ The department is covering different specialisations, such as Employment law, Talent Acquisition & development, Compensation & benefits and HR Information Systems. 

The strategic HR business partner team works closely with the business and its people to grow by giving customised advice and support on talent, leadership and culture/organisational development, via close connection to the business. The department is busy with manpower planning & stability​​, talent management (rotation, evaluation,…)​, follow-up on retention & resilience and actions to improve​​ leadership development​.

The service center for employees is targeting excellent candidate and employee experience by offering service  and personal advice in all personnel and HR legal topics. Striving for a smooth recruitment and onboarding process via a dedicated recruitment center. Examples of activities are e.g. Induction of new employees, payroll and personnel administration , employment contracts​, complex social legal questions, activities to attract new staff, …. To realise this service, the department works closely together with our external but inhouse payroll agency & recruitment agency.
