We are seeking a detail-oriented and improvement-focused Senior Data & Control Analyst to join our project team at Daikin EMEA HQ in Brussels.

In this role, you will ensure and develop the framework of our reporting environment within our IT system landscape, participating and leading roll-outs, standardisation and improvement projects across the entire Daikin EMEA Group.

You will act as the bridge between business and IT by collaborating with various stakeholders, including senior management, business controllers, and IT analysts in Daikin HQ and Affiliate companies of the EMEA group.

Function

  • You will discuss changes requested by the business and, together with IT, translate these into SAP solutions.

  • You will be involved in the roll-out of managerial reporting across different business streams and software packages at our daughter companies. During these projects, you will focus mainly on the interface with SAP for controlling functionalities, as well as the reporting track in Power BI to ensure data lineage.

  • You will work with a wide range of stakeholders, each with different requirements. You are able to set priorities, manage expectations and communicate accordingly.

  • You will lead these initiatives end-to-end as project owner — planning, coordinating and steering cross-functional projects across business, IT and finance, keeping multiple workstreams on track and delivering on time.

  • You will drive organisation and change management to ensure adoption of new processes and systems, guiding stakeholders through the transition and embedding new ways of working.

  • You will drive conceptual implementations together with the Global Process Owner (GPO) across the organisation, including end-to-end modelling within SAP, presenting and defending it to management and a broad audience, and actively participating in its implementation.

  • You will drive the implementation of the rebates module across Daikin entities.

Your profile

  • You have a Master's degree in business economics, finance or controlling.

  • You already have extended experience in a similar role as controller or SAP key-user, or extended experience in an analytical position.

  • You have depth experience of S/4HANA (SD, FI and CO), ideally including exposure to migration or rollout projects.

  • You have experience with testing and UAT for new SAP processes, system changes, or implementation projects.

  • You have experience with SAP reporting tools (e.g. FAGLL03H) to build and analyse financial and management reporting.

  • You bring strong project management skills — you plan, organise and steer projects to completion, and are comfortable coordinating stakeholders and workstreams across functions independently.

  • You have experience with, or a strong affinity for, change management — driving adoption and helping people through process and system change.

  • You are prepared to travel abroad (15% of your time) and/or to the Oostkamp office (Accounting & IT) when projects or meetings require this.

  • You work accurately, with the ability to dig into the details without losing the helicopter view.

  • You have experience working in a multi-company environment, coordinating across different affiliates.

  • You can create process documentation and train end users, ensuring knowledge transfer and adoption across the organisation.

  • You possess excellent analytical skills and demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.

  • You are a team player, but you are also able to work independently.
