About the Department
The Controls Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is responsible for defining the strategy, development, and commercialization of Daikin’s control solutions across Residential and Commercial applications. The team enables smart HVAC systems through controllers, gateways, APIs, and digital solutions.
Your Role
As liaison with the Daikin Europe Affiliates, you will be an intermediary between our EMEA sales network and the management of the Controls SBU at our headquarters in Belgium. You will be creative in providing and challenging the use of new tools to drive growth, meet the agreed targets and explore new sales routes. You will be reporting to the Business Development Section Manager. You will perform a wide range of commercial activities including;
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Direction
Drive business strategy focused on customer lifecycle value creation and translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.
Sales Target Setting & Performance Management
Define KPIs, set budgets and targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.
Sales Budget cycle control and internal business strategy reporting : Product mix, Route and Pricing strategy, Gross Margin and Market Share monitoring.
Follow up of the budgeted targets, facilitating to realize and maximize in cooperation with our affiliated companies across EMEA region by offering solutions and daily support
Pricing Strategy
Define and implement strategic pricing, lead negotiations, and ensure alignment across affiliates.
Route-to-Market Strategy
Define go-to-market strategy, align affiliates, and optimize execution.
Supply Chain Interface
Act as business counterpart for supply, define volume targets and stock levels, and ensure alignment.
New Business Models
Develop new business models via customer engagement and cross-SBU collaboration.
Business Development
Develop sales tools, application guides, and support market activation.
Competitor Benchmarking
Analyze competitors, pricing models, and business structures to drive insights.
Your Profile
Master’s degree, strong analytical mindset, commercial and technical affinity, excellent communication, and international mindset.
Experience as business analyst or business development is a strong plus.
