Department
The mission of the Internal Audit Department is to provide independent and objective assurance and consulting services that add value and improve the organization’s operations. It helps the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the control, governance and risk management processes.
Within Daikin Europe, the Internal Audit team conducts audit engagements, at entity or process level, following a risk-based audit plan and report the result of these assessments to the Audit Committee, Board of Directors and local Management. As Daikin continues its digital and sustainable transformation, our Internal Audit function is evolving toward advanced analytics, automation, AI‑enabled assurance, continuous risk monitoring, and sustainability audits. To support this journey, we are strengthening our international team with a talented Senior Internal Auditor.
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be part of an international team, based in Brussels, that executes operational audit engagement covering small to large organizations in Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as complex business processes.

- Work most of the time together with your colleagues during audit assignments, but also perform audits independently when required.
- Present high‑quality results: verbally communicate findings – including well‑substantiated issues, root‑cause insights and practical improvement advice – to senior management, and draft comprehensive and accurate audit reports.
- Develop qualitative internal audit work programs depending on the requirements of the audit plan and the organization, integrating data analytics and digital risk considerations.
- Maximize the usage of our IT systems (SAP, PowerBI, ACL/Analytics, Workiva) and contribute to the adoption of new tools such as scripts, continuous monitoring dashboards, and AI‑supported analysis to drive efficiency, insight quality and audit coverage.
- Actively participate in the definition and roll-out of strategic projects for the IA department.
