Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.
DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.

Department
Within Daikin Europe NV, the Service Operations Division is the after-sales point of contact for our customers within the EMEA region (distributors and national subsidiary companies). They can ask the most complex technical questions about our products, and will be supported through our helpdesk & training programs (in our Daikin Academy and on-site). Furthermore, the warranty treatment and the European spare parts supply chain belong to the responsibilities of the Service Operations Division.
The Spare Parts Department ensures that the required spare parts are timely available across our European distribution network, from which they are directly delivered to the Daikin customers.
Our department can be seen as a small company within the company, which offers a wide variety of processes: from planning & procurement to sales and delivery, from IT implementations to reporting. This will allow you to quickly gain a 360° view on the involved business processes.
The function of “Business analyst” resides in the Spare Parts Planning & procurement section, which guarantees a reliable & correct supply of Spare Parts from other international spare parts centers or regional suppliers to the European warehouses and finally to our customers.

After an intensive training period, you become specialised in the spare parts Procurement &planning processes.
As a member of our team, you are key in our journey to further optimize our procurement & planning process and make sure it adapts to a continuous changing environment.
Additionally, you play a key role in driving digital transformation within the spare parts planning & procurement processes. By combining business understanding with technical skills, you translate operational needs into data-driven solutions, reporting tools, and process improvements.
Your challenges:
- Take ownership of the spare parts procurement and planning processes: understand, operate, and continuously optimize them to ensure reliability and performance.
- Drive process improvement and efficiency initiatives by designing new processes and enhancing existing ones, with a focus on customer service level and operational excellence.
- Support business growth by integrating new requirements into planning processes, including the expansion of product ranges and solution offerings.
- Act as a key point of contact in an international stakeholder environment, collaborating with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to align on solutions and drive improvements.
- Contribute to and represent the business in cross-functional and IT/digital transformation projects, from analysis and solution design through implementation, testing, and go-live.
- Lead the digitalization and automation of planning and procurement processes by translating business needs into practical, data-driven solutions and tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, enabling clear insights for operational and management decision-making.
- Define and manage KPIs and reporting frameworks, using data analysis to identify root causes, detect deviations early, and implement sustainable improvements.
- Analyse data to uncover inefficiencies and optimization opportunities, and translate insights into concrete actions and structural solutions.
- Contribute to the future planning strategy and roadmap, driving innovation and working closely with stakeholders and management to realize long-term ambitions.
Your profile
- You have a Master degree, typically in Applied Economics or Commercial Engineering.
- You have an analytical mindset and a passion for facts and figures.
- You have a solution & customer oriented mind-set and a drive to continuously improve your area.
- Your communication is to the point and customer oriented. You’re not afraid to take the lead in meetings and present to a mid-size audience.
- You are open and have a positive mindset.
- You have affinity with IT-applications. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- You are familiar with the current software packets (MS office: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) and analytical tools (PowerBI knowledge is a must).
- You are a team player and establish / keep a good relationship with your business colleagues from various departments.
- A good knowledge of English is required, knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
- Short stays abroad are no problem.
