Procurement/Disposition
The procurement department is divided into two teams: the buyers and the schedulers. The scheduling team is responsible for procuring the necessary materials and ensuring the supply to production. Delivery dates are monitored, and escalation management is carried out. Responsibilities are organized based on product lines or customers.

Additionally, this is where the repackaging of transport packaging into consumption packaging takes place. The emphasis here is on ensuring correct inventory levels and providing materials for production. The department also handles intra-company transport and material flow planning within the company.

The European Supply Center is the division of Daikin responsible for the distribution of the goods produced in the European factories. This includes the stocking of the regional distribution centers as well as the delivery to the end customer.
The ESC location in Güglingen offers a dynamic and modern environment with lots of variety. This department is responsible for the movement of goods, especially incoming goods from production and outgoing goods to the European distribution centers. The goods are picked here, ensuring product safety. The department is also responsible for returns management. Defective air conditioning and heating devices from Germany are checked and repaired here. Furthermore, the transport of the products manufactured at the site is organized and the customs and delivery documents are then completed. Some products that are produced at the Güglingen site are sent to other production plants in Belgium and the Czech Republic for further processing.
