Daikin’s aim is to target at top students from high academic ranking university in UAE who is currently on their final year of studies or recently obtained a university degree and at the beginning of a new professional career. The great thing about the program is to acquire practical experience and knowledge to work in a multinational and multicultural environment also to provide opportunities to practice their knowledge acquired during their studies and in their specific areas of competence. The Internship program is also intended to introduce students to the first-hand professional working world, the constraints, duties, and opportunities therein.

About the Internship Program

During our 6 months internship program, Interns will undergo intensive hands-on training with their dedicated departments to understand Daikin products, service, and operations. Interns support day to day business and at the same time learn the technical knowledge and gain practical experience as part of on-the-job training. Interns will be assigned to a specific project related to field of work and submit a report at the end of program as an individual or a team project.

After completing 6 months program, Interns will be evaluated and considered for permanent employment within Daikin Middle East and Africa in a suitable role and Department based on the performance and potential.


Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in relating field (Engineering (All disciplines), Business, Commerce, Marketing, Psychology, HR, Finance, Computer Science, Information Analytics.
  • English efficiency is a must
  • Knowledge of any other language is preferable (French, Arabic)


Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English both verbal and written
  • Microsoft office skill (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Internet savvy

Selection Process:

  • Selected candidates will be notified by email and follow by
         Telephone screening call
         1st round – technical test (Excel, Web tool test)
         2nd round – psychometric assessment (computer based)
     
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for panel interview with HR and Business Managers


Internship Stipend:

  • Internship of 6 months can be offered to undergraduate student on full time basis
         (Allowance of 4,000 AED per month is provided)
