Airside Product Manager

Daikin Middle East & Africa (DAME) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DAME is Daikin’s Middle East and Africa regional HQ. The regional has headquarter in Dubai and other offices in Abu Dhabi, Cairo (Egypt), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Qatar as well as 2 production plants, and 2 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the MEA region.

• Job Responsibilities:

• Working closely with Branches Across Kingdom to ensure the achievement of the Airside Plans for and accelerate the growth (Secured/Revenue /margin).

• Working across multi functions of Sales, Application, engineering, Factories & products teams which builds bridges between all department and marching towards company goals.

• Developing products strategies and elevate the products specifications.

• Review the Market requirements in terms of specifications/regulations and work with Factory to develop the right products to match the market requirements.

• Competition mapping: Understanding markets competitions, trends, regulations, and dynamics and ensure providing the right products & Certification and developed competition battle card.

• Conducting trainings and webinars to educate application/ Sales on the new products/ technologies.
• Develop the skills of Sales/Application engineers and ensure that they have the right skills and ensure to provide the right trainings improving their effectiveness to drive success and profitability.
• Ensure & control the products profitability by setting the pricing strategy in each market segment.
• Work closely with factories and ensure full feasibility about market loading and market needs.
• Responsibility of Product development and product transfer for local Products.
• Working with Key accounts and consultant Sales teams to provide the right product specifications and differentiations to be specified at early stage in projects.
• Generate monthly analysis report to provide full view of market trends/forecast and outlook.

• Ensure product differentiation and market adaptability and ensure products are up to market specifications and meeting market certifications needs,
• Leading critical products initiatives and launch of new products to KSA Market.

Successfully transferred the product technology and launched new products into market and widen the product portfolio.

• Job Requirements:

Experience & Knowledge:

• More than 15 Years relevant HVAC industry experience including full knowledge for all HVAC systems and components.
• Experience of working in international Or multicultural environments.
• Previous Employments with Major Competition or HVAC Manufacturers or MEP company.
• Knowledge about major players products and prices for HVAC and related works price index.
• Excellent Presentation skills. 
• Strong technical and commercial aptitude.
• Strong background of dealing with vendors and manage commercial/ financial statement.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good knowledge of supplier or third-party material and services.
• Saudi market experience is preferable.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with business knowledge.
