DX Product Manager

Product Development:

•            Conducting market research on technical comparisons of competition & evaluating the technical proposals from R&D.

•            Reviewing the product proposals with Sales in comparison to competition and finalizing the specifications & features.

•            Propose FOB Target prices against features & Specifications.

•            Follow-up with R&D in weekly meetings and updating management on product development progress.

•            Support R&D with competition samples for Tear-down analysis.

•            Coordinate between factories & 3rd party Test labs for Product testing on CB reports / performance & functional test reports.

 Product Support:

•            Responsible to support Sales team on technical queries on Products and coordinate with R&D for ensuring timely feedback.

•            Maintain database on Product related technical queries and manage Product portfolio for sales region.

•            Review the product life cycle and update the sales & Service dept on transition of products with schedule.

•            Ensure all compliance are met in accordance with regional requirement & government laws.

•            Responsible for Product end-of life process and ensuring stocks are liquidated within transition time period.

•            Update & manage Selection Software with New Product range to support Sales & Application team.

Product Launch:

•            Reviewing the final specifications from R&D and preparation of technical catalogues & features.

•            Finalize the FOB Price with factories and material creation in SAP.

•            Updating Management & Sales Team on Product launch schedule.

•            Prepare & conduct Product Presentations to Sales & Distributors. 

•            Follow-up with R&D for Databook, IOM, Service Manuals & Spare Parts list for Sales & Service depts.

Other Responsibilities:

•            Preparation of Presentations for DAME Top Management / MSM / PDM / DENV management.

•            Bi-weekly update reports on Product Development plan progress.

•            Weekly schedule plan to be updated to Management.

•            Responsible to achieve VRV products Quantities turnover through Sales & Service business.

Job Requirements:

Experience & Knowledge:

•            Minimum 10 years working experience in HVAC industry especially in VRV/VRF technology

•            Previous Retail OR Projects Sales Experience in UAE or GCC region is preferable.

•            Experience in Application on HVAC Equipment selections will be added value.

•            At least 3-4year experience in managing team is desirable. 

•            Knowledge in handling various stake holders like factories, R&D, Sales & Service depts will be added value.

Education:

•            Mechanical Engineering Degree

•            Master Degree is preferred
