About the Role

 

The Product Marketing & Business Planning Specialist – DX, based in Dubai, plays a pivotal regional role in driving product marketing strategy, business development, analysis, planning, reporting, and market research for the DX business across the MEA region.

 

This role supports the Product Marketing & Business Manager in executing strategic initiatives across all DX SBUs, including RA, SKY, Rooftop, AP, VRV, Heating, and New Business Projects. The position demands strong analytical skills, a solid business perspective, and cross-functional coordination. The specialist will translate data and insights into actionable strategies that enhance product launches, sales performance, product positioning, market share, and overall profitability.

 

How You Will Make an Impact

 

Business ER & Budget Planning 

  • Lead annual and quarterly DX strategic planning and budget preparation for each region.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor DX sales budgets by country, product category, and region.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports to management.
  • Conduct Monthly ER planning with regional and sales. 

 

Reporting, Analytics & Data Management 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance tracking tools using Excel, Power BI, SAP, and other reporting platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all regions for sales, product, and market information.
  • Conduct variance analysis against budget and forecasts, providing data-driven recommendations.

 

Product Availability & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Monitor product availability across regions and coordinate necessary actions to optimize supply.
  • Enhance forecast accuracy and support affiliates in safety stock and demand planning.
  • Lead PPL/OOL planning and supply coordination to prevent shortages.

 

Pricing, Costing & Project Discount Management 

  • Support regional price-setting, costing activities, and discount approval processes for projects.
  • Assist in negotiating factory discounts, optimizing FOB pricing, and developing region-specific pricing strategies.

 

Internal & External Communication

  • Maintain structured communication with affiliates, HQ, factories, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
  • Prepare and support executive-level presentations for management meetings.
  • Communicate updates on performance, projects, timelines, and strategic initiatives.

 

Product Marketing Execution

  • Support the implementation of product marketing strategies across all DX SBUs.
  • Coordinate regional campaigns, product launches, and communication activities with affiliates and HQ.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of updates regarding product changes, new introductions, certifications, and withdrawals.

 

Market Research & Projects Support

 

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to track trends, customer behaviour, and product demand.
  • Collect and analyze competitor pricing, product offerings, and market share insights.
  • Lead market mapping and strategic research to support decision-making for factories and regional management.
  • Analyze pricing structures including price waterfall, recommended retail prices, and discount policies.
  • Support pricing and costing improvements by contributing to negotiations on lead-times, pricing, and factory support.
  • Assist in planning and supporting new business projects related to the DX business across the region.

 

What You Need to Succeed

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing, sales analysis, business analytics, or commercial operations (HVAC industry preferred).
  • Proven experience in market research, pricing, planning, and business reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale regional or multi-country operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP, CRM platforms, and business reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC/DX product lines (advantage).
  • Strong business and commercial awareness.
  • High analytical capability and structured problem-solving.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to manage complex tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to handle high pressure, tight deadlines, and multi-country coordination.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent spoken and written English. Arabic/French will be advantage.
