 How you will contribute

 

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and profit margins.
  • Serve as the primary client interface, attending regular project meetings and providing accurate weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Develop project budgets, cost estimates, and resource plans aligned with project requirements and timelines.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to maintain project targets.
  • Review and coordinate engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, piping layouts, general arrangement drawings, and piping isometrics.
  • Oversee project cost control, variation management, and subcontractor performance to optimize project profitability through efficient resource utilization, procurement strategies, and operational improvements.
  • Support procurement activities, contract administration, and vendor management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage vendor documentation, delivery schedules, payment progress, and contractual obligations.
  • Review and ensure compliance of QA/QC documentation submitted by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate and monitor MIR and WIR submissions, securing timely client approvals to facilitate invoicing and payments.
  • Support commissioning activities and evaluate contractor and vendor variation claims when required.
  • Provide multidisciplinary technical oversight across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, structural, and equipment-related disciplines.
  • Lead coordination meetings with engineering and site teams to ensure alignment on priorities, schedules, and project milestones.
  • Ensure complete and organized project documentation to support smooth project closeout, handover, and transition to operations.
  • Prepare and present project status updates, key performance indicators, and management reports to senior leadership and clients.

 

What you need to succeed: 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 10–15 years of experience in project management, preferably within industrial, EPC, construction, or engineering projects.
  • Professional Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contract administration, and subcontractor management.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including reporting and client-facing communications.
  • Flexibility to work full-time and adapt to project site and operational requirements as needed.
