Regional Project Support Engineer - Applied

About the role

You will be responsible for the technical support, design, and optimization of Applied Products (Chillers/AHU/FCU) systems used in commercial and industrial HVAC applications for MEA region. This role involves working closely with sales teams, and factory engineering departments to ensure the successful application of chiller systems and solutions.

How you will contribute 

1.    Analyze customer requirements and project specifications to recommend appropriate Applied solutions and support sales team with proper technical proposals
2.    Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continually improve technical knowledge and service offerings
3.    Prepare and make product presentations to internal and external customers on Applied Product and Systems
4.    Liaise with factories for any customization required to meet customers’ requirements
5.    Monitor enquiry pipeline, approval of orders in system, follow up readiness and analyze data to be reported to Applied Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Director
6.    Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements based on customer feedback and industry trends

What you need to succeed

• Strong understanding of Applied Product and systems
• Proficiency in HVAC software tools and simulation programs.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, AHRI, Eurovent, ISO)
• Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability practices in HVAC systems.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective communication, collaborative skills and presentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
