Project Sales Engineer

Daikin Middle East & Africa (DAME) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DAME is Daikin’s Middle East and Africa regional HQ. The regional has headquarter in Dubai and other offices in Abu Dhabi, Cairo (Egypt), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Qatar as well as 2 production plants, and 2 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the MEA region.

Job Responsibilities

•  Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
• Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
• Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
• Account management within DKSA.
• Achieve sales booking, invoicing, and margin target.
• Generate new enquiries and customers (clients ,contractors and sub-contractors)
• Review enquiries, Preparing Commercial and technical offers and follow up with application team.
• Prepare technical selection whenever it required.
• Follow up on submittals for approvals from Client / Consultant
• Familiarity with the industry trends and competition
• Negotiation of contractual/commercial terms
• Coordinate with Service team to provide After Sales support to existing customers.
• Project Payment follow up and Realization.
• Bring critical customer requirements back into the development, production, and marketing processes.
• Input, Monitor and Update CRM data on regular basis and prepare sales reports for the management.
• Visit customer sites for meetings, presentations, and demonstrations as required.
• Coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Travel inside and outside Saudi Arabia to meet customers.

Job Requirements  

Experience & Knowledge

• Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer and knowledge in HVAC sector
• Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions.
• Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
• Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in of Chillers, Airside products and VRV/VRF
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Successful track Record in KSA market and HVAC industry
• Strong experience on contractual terms & conditions
• Willingness to travel

Education

• Mechanical Engineering degree
