Daikin Middle East & Africa (DAME) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DAME is Daikin’s Middle East and Africa regional HQ. The regional has headquarter in Dubai and other offices in Abu Dhabi, Cairo (Egypt), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Qatar as well as 2 production plants, and 2 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the MEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ERP System Management:
    • Maintain and update the ERP system to ensure accurate data flow and system integrity.
    • Troubleshoot ERP issues, coordinate with IT or external vendors for resolution, and implement necessary updates.
    • Generate BOM for units and upload them in the ERP system.
    • Review & Control the BOM and modify it as needed before issuing a close order in the system.
    • Customize ERP workflows to meet the specific requirements of production, procurement, and sales processes.
    • Identify discrepancies between ERP data and physical inventory, ensuring swift corrective actions.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for ERP-related queries and issues within the organization.
  2. Production and Inventory Coordination:
    • Oversee real-time tracking of inventory, including components like coils, motors, filters, and sheet metal.
    • Support production planning by generating reports and ensuring synchronization with the ERP system.
    • Identify discrepancies between ERP data and physical inventory, ensuring swift corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, preferably in HVAC or AHU production.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with air handling unit components, production processes, and energy efficiency standards is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles relevant to HVAC equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role with occasional visits to production and inventory areas.
  • Collaborative environment requiring coordination across multiple teams.
