Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend to service related issues related to Air Handling Units and troubleshoot or analyze design issues that result to failure or poor AHU performance. This will require a minimum of 7-10 years experience in AHU service, troubleshooting and design.
  • Resolve and address fan related problems and have thorough knowledge of fan systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Service relates issues on both Chilled Water AHU and DX AHU Systems and have thorough knowledge on these systems, applicable for both heating and cooling application.
  • Able to technically understand, resolve and identify duct design problems and its effect on performance. Able to clearly and technically report and defend technical findings related to noise, airflow and other duct related matters that could be the result of bad duct design.
  • Troubleshoot Air Handling unit problems including duct related issues involving duct design problems.
  • Prepare detailed Technical reports with in depth analysis of the site issues or AGU related complaints attended on site.
  • Thoroughly Investigate the root cause of failure especially quality related and correspond with factories on technical aspects related to AHU design.
  • Troubleshoot, configure, program and reprogram AHU controls and should have practical hands on experience in AHU Controls
  • Be fully aware and familiar of local codes and regulations with respect to installation and commissioning.
  • Be able to carry-out and advise on Air balancing of Ventilation systems.
  • Possess strong fundamental understanding on Chilled water piping and chillers will be an added advantage.
  • Responsibilities will include remote and on-site support to field as required, including travel to any city in KSA.
  • Develop and Provide Technical Service Training concerning AHU Service and Design
  • Provide Technical Support by email and phone calls and Site attendance on the regional scale for the entire KSA Market.
  • Strongly work with the Factory on Service Issues and Quality Investigation through the Quality Meetings to provide relevant data to improve design and quality and avoid frequent or recurring problems.

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements:

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Hands-on experience of at least 10 years in troubleshooting, commissioning and installation of Air Handling Units and Ventilation systems.
  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer or Equivalent who can demonstrate and practically work on AHUs, and can resolve the problems with minimum or completely independently without supervision.
  • Strong Experience and knowledge on factory specific selection software or comparable systems.
  • Should have strong knowledge on psychometrics and various refrigerant thermodynamics.
  • Practical Experience and knowledge working on motors, fans, noise level meters and airflow or air balancing tools
  • Able to write highly technical reports related to AHU failure and root cause analysis, back up by practical field data or actual measured parameters.
  • Excellent Presentation Skills
  • Flexible to Travel inside KSA.

 

Education:

  • Mechanical Engineering Graduate Degree or equivalent.

Skills:

  • Excellent AHU troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent in Installation of Large Air handling units.
  • Experienced in Chiller Plant Manager and Controls
  • Strong Analytical skills on Fan systems and duct design. (Data Analysis and Reports)
  • Good Customer Communication Skills
  • Sound decision making skill
  • Positive attitude toward solving technical issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent level of English both spoken and written
  • Strong people and presentation skills is a plus

  • Attend and close field interventions (locally or involving travel) with a Comprehensive Solution and clear analysis on the Troubleshooting action preformed on-site (whether to generate revenue or attend warranty or breakdown escalations).
  • Provide Technical Support to the Region for Affiliates, Customers (Distributors) and future business growth plans
  • Be able to train and develop Engineers and Technicians by conducting the planned development training and mentoring them to bring them to the next level.
  • Be focused on consistently delivering high level of Service and Customer Satisfaction.
