Job Description

As Technician the role is to be a result-oriented individual and utilize learned skills to complete the allotted tasks. Should be able to exhibit empathy towards the customer, have qualities to handle the situation, given manpower. One should be able to maintain cordial relationship with both, the user, and the manpower. Pay close attention to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure they don’t compromise the safety of self and co-workers or general public and should be able to diagnose & troubleshoot problems more efficiently.

 

Job Requirements

  1. Maintenance and repair within set timeframe and according to defined process, service agreements and customer needs
  2. Primary ‘on site’ customer contact for technical installation and/or service issues.
  3. Completes planned site / customer visits and resolves customer request / calls as dispatched.
  4. Develops positive customer relationships, ensures pro-active feedback on and documentation of the customer’s equipment and systems status and of work completed.
  5. Under general supervision, diagnoses and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as an understanding on time and material requirements.
  6. Seeks clarification and technical support where needed and escalates issues as appropriate.
  7. Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
  8. (For Operator only) Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems and reach full understanding of customer needs.
  9. Keeps customer informed on the nature of provided service, outstanding issues, recommends system enhancement/upgrade/replacement and promotes the sale of change orders and/or additional labor & material work (T&M).
  10. Documents work completed in a clear and concise way and promptly submits service reports.
  11. Maintains and improves technical proficiency in Daikin’s product lines.

 

Educational Qualifications + Experience

Minimum 4+ years of experience for persons having educational qualifications in ITI in refrigeration or any equivalent degree.

Or

Minimum 3+ years of experience for persons having educational qualifications in Diploma in Refrigeration.

              Or

Minimum 2+ years of experience for persons having educational qualifications in DME.

 

Criteria

NOC / Transferrable Visa

Qatar Driving License Compulsory – noncompulsory.
