Business Analytics
We are part of virtual Business Analytics Team which means that we work on a daily basis with our Colleagues in Daikin team in Brussels as well as affiliates (Daikin entities) in various European countries. We support the affiliates in implementation and usage of SAP CRM module used for reporting primary on sales, pre-sales but also other domains such as manufacturing, supply, etc. In particular we acquire in-depth knowledge of several SAP modules, with special attention to SAP CRM and Daikin Business Warehouse (BW) to support affiliates in questions such as day-to-day use of SAP or more complex issues such as setup of new reports. We manage complex problem and facilitate and improve business processes. We are responsible for maintenance of BO and PowerBI reports in several SAP domains in cooperation with the business stakeholders, roll-out of BO Webi and development of PowerBI reports, regression testing prior to roll-out of SAP CRM to new affiliates or release of new functionalities of the module by IT. Together with IT, we implement solutions for addressed problems and explore new tools and functionalities to improve current reporting structure.
Controlling
The aim of the role is support the activities of the Corporate Planning department, responsible for drilling down the strategy into annual budgets and realizing the group targets in cooperation with all sales and manufacturing entities, as well as with other departments of Daikin. As a backbone for group-wide reporting, the department takes care of the management of the sales-, margin-, and pricing data, as well as collecting and reporting market intelligence. Corporate Planning safeguards and manages profitability, via periodic reporting to top-management, close follow-up and by proposing countermeasure actions. Furthermore, the department is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate governance and internal controls in the group (e.g. J-SOx and system access).
As Controlling and Reporting Team we closely cooperate with multiple stakeholders and are responsible for several standardized processes, which include: collecting & compiling of numerous data in order to prepare agreed reports, attentive interpretation & analysis of the data aiming at finding dependencies and deviations, preparation and publication of management reporting and ad-hoc analyses, active involvement in the budgeting and result follow-up in the Daikin Europe Group.
Strategic Planning
Under the definition of Strategic Planning, the team is responsible of 5 main group of activities:
Coordination of 5-year Strategic Plan (Fusion25).
Market Intelligence Activities across EMEA, including different type of competitor monitoring, general business and organizational trends follow up.
End-to-End execution of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) across EMEA region.
Post-Merger Integration (PMI) activities for the newly acquired companies.
Tackling transformational and organizational topics.
