Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) is a branch of DENV located in Warsaw. As a competency center we aim at being one of the driving forces behind the processes transformation: optimization, standardization and automation in the areas of supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR.
About the role
As a Product & Customer Master Data Governance Support you will be responsible for several areas of the customer and product master data governance processes:
- Supporting the Product Master Data Governance process and systems from business side.
- Offer 1st line support for our Product Information Management (PIM) system
- Provide training and support to data stewards about the PIM system
- Responsible for maintenance activities on the PIM system (data attribute, template & translations management)
- Support and follow up of technical issues in collaboration with our IT department
- Responsible for creation and updating of PMDG related documentation (e.g. data catalog, process descriptions,…)
- Supporting our Sales Business Units and affiliated companies across Europe in managing and delivering product data to 3rd parties, according to pre-defined industry standards (ETIM, 2BA, FAB-DIS, Datanorm, …)
- Responsible for testing improvements to the PIM system and training the users on these improvements
- Offer 1st line support for our Product Information Management (PIM) system
- Providing support to a community of Customer Master Data Stewards across the EMEA territory in their daily usage of our Master Data Governance tooling. This means you will be:
- Responsible to answer all support questions or issues related to the Customer Master Data tooling (e.g. our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solution)
- Analysing the support requests, requesting more information if required and deciding on the best way to resolve the issue or question
- Responsible for resolving issues and implementing improvements to this tooling, in collaboration with the our IT department if needed
- Providing input to the CMDG Lead and Analyst when structural improvements are required to the Master Data Governance tools or dashboards
- Responsible for testing improvements to the Customer Master Data Systems (Dashboard, CIAM, Data Catalog) and training the users on these improvements.
- Responsible to answer all support questions or issues related to the Customer Master Data tooling (e.g. our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solution)
- Initiating data cleansing projects, starting from Data Quality dashboards (PowerBI). Coordinating these projects, follow-up of the correct and timely execution of the data cleansing activities by Master Data Stewards and reporting on the progress. This for both Product and Customer Data.

About you
- You have a Master degree or proven experience in a master data related profession
- Good knowledge of MS Excel is a must. Knowledge of other data reporting tools (like PowerBI) is a plus
- Experience with PIM systems such as Stibo STEP or similar is a plus
- Knowledge of, or a strong interest to learn, SAP applications like SAP S/4 Hana, SAP MDG and SAP CDC/CDP is a plus
- You can work independently, but keep an open communication and reporting
- You have an analytical mind and you have an affinity with data, databases and IT systems
- You speak and write fluently in English.
- You are a team player who feels comfortable in building good interpersonal skills
- You are open to occasional travels within EMEA, to meet and align with your direct colleagues in Belgium, with whom you will be working closely
