Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) is a branch of DENV located in Warsaw. As a competency center we aim at being one of the driving forces behind the processes transformation: optimization, standardization and automation in the areas of supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR.
Job purpose/overview:
Function encompassing a range of activities to obtain spare parts (in right time, place, quantity and quality), starting from purchase orders creation, ensuring each order is confirmed, on-time shipped by supplier, ending with inbound control.
The secondary role is to build up the relationship with selected suppliers and autonomously handling the escalations including taking proactive steps in case metrics start being out of line.
On every stage of the process Procurement Specialist is identifying issues, efficiency opportunities or low/no value added activities in order to increase process efficiency and improve areas that negatively impact business.
Main tasks, duties and responsibilities:
- Daily purchase orders creation to suppliers & stock transfer orders creation within the own network
- Monitoring on issues occurred while PO/STO creation and reporting them to related parties
- PO maintenance based on supplier feedback but also taking into consideration company’s interest and follow-up of the discrepancies upon arrival are required
- Past due and unconfirmed orders verification
- Inbound difference verification and taking actions based on root cause, keep follow up and effective execution of required actions from involved parties
- Blocked for payments invoices maintenance
- Weekly and monthly reports preparation based on company instructions
Experience, educational and technical requirements:
- Bachelor degree or at least 2 year of professional experience (as an equivalent)
- SAP basic skills
- Good written and verbal command of English (B1)
- Excel intermediate (advanced Excel knowledge is a plus)
- practical experience in a similar position is a plus
