Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) is a branch of DENV located in Warsaw. As a competency center we aim at being one of the driving forces behind the processes transformation: optimization, standardization and automation in the areas of supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR.
Are you ready to play a key role in the international flow of goods? As a Customs Process Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of Daikin Europe's distribution network, ensuring smooth and compliant movement of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning systems and accessories across our EMEA warehouses.
You will manage and support a wide range of customs activities:
- In-House Customs Operations:
• Transit Management: monitor inbound T1 documents and Temporary Storage movements.
• Import Coordination: oversee daily checks in SAP GTS for bonded warehouse and free circulation processes, including preferential origin handling.
• Export Support: provide first-line assistance, track exit confirmations, manage A.TR certificates and invoice declarations and maintain complete archives.
-Collaboration with External Agents:
• Issue clearance instructions and ensure timely payment of import duties & other taxes.
• Maintain documentation and monthly reporting.
• Follow up on exit confirmations to ensure compliance.
-Intrastat Reporting:
• Prepare and submit Intrastat reports in multiple EU countries
Our requirements
Experience, education and technical skills
- Good coordination & ability to prioritize tasks
- Being able to communicate verbally and in writing at different levels
- High level of accuracy and timeliness in view of meeting official deadlines
- You possess good (business) analytical skills
- Eye for picking up errors
- SAP knowledge is an advantage (S4/HANA + GTS)
- Good computer skills e.g. Microsoft Excel (Knowledge of macros & VBA is a plus.)
- Preferably you have relevant experience with Incoterms, customs formalities, VAT and logistical processes
Interpersonal skills
- Special focus on improvements proposing, executing and leading (process or way of working improvements)
- Affinity to work in an international trade and customs environment, but keeping a practical focus
- Confidence in communicating with different parties at all levels is essential (authorities, external providers, international colleagues, etc…)
- Team player, looking for cooperation, consultation and teamwork on regular base with colleagues of own and other departments
- You have strong analytical skills and are able to detect and solve problems quickly and independently.
- A good command of English is essential
