The HVAC Application Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting VRV/DX/AIR HANDLING UNITS systems. This role involves working closely with sales, installation, and service teams to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • System Design

 

    • Analyze project requirements and design efficient VRV/DX/AIR HANDLING UNITS   systems tailored to the specific needs of clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
    • Consultant support: Daikin products spec in activities with consultants.
    • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to sales teams, contractors, and clients during the installation and commissioning phases of VRV/DX/AIR HANDLING UNITS   systems.
  • Project Management

     

      • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful completion of VRV/DX/AIR HANDLING UNITS installations.
      • Training: Conduct training sessions for contractors and internal staff on the operation and maintenance of VRV/DX/AIR HANDLING UNITS   systems.
      • Technical Support: Resolve technical issues related to VRV/DX/AIR HANDLING UNITS   systems, including performance and operational concerns.
      • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to develop product specifications and improve system designs based on feedback and field experiences. 
      • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including system layouts, selection reports, material submittals, commercial offers
      • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor products to inform design and marketing strategies.

Job Requirements:

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC applications, preferably with a focus on VRV/DX/AIR HANDLING UNITS systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Skills:

  • Proficient in HVAC design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, HVAC Load Calculation Software.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and energy efficiency. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.
