Project Development Engineer - Airside

Daikin Middle East & Africa (DAME) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.
DAME is Daikin’s Middle East and Africa regional HQ. The regional has headquarter in Dubai and other offices in Abu Dhabi, Cairo (Egypt), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Qatar as well as 2 production plants, and 2 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the MEA region.
How you will contribute

Carry out equipment selection for Air side products like Fresh air handling units /Fan coil units for projects based in UAE.

Selection of customized FAHU & FCU solutions, in line with project design criteria and specifications.

Preparing detailed selection reports, quotation, ensuring pricing level and coordination with Sales Engineer.

Preparing technical submittals including data sheets, compliance statement and equipment schedule in line with project requirements for consultant approvals.

Working on software selection tools such as FAHUs and FCUs.

Supporting sales team by delivering preliminary and final submittals, contributing to successful project bids and project handovers.

Ensure all projects and daily tasks are completed and submitted before deadline.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Working knowledge of Airside product (FAHUs & FCUs..) system.

Knowledge and understanding of HVAC design and heat load calculations.

Good understanding and knowledge of refrigeration cycle & psychrometrics.

Knowledge of Local codes/regulation and sustainable building design principles.
