Department

 

Production Engineering has the mission to organize our manufacturing processes and facilities as lean as possible. We achieve this by innovating, setting up new processes and systems, and continuously improving our existing production processes and optimizing our logistic chain. To strengthen this team, we are looking for a process engineer to support our manufacturing processes (assembly lines, logistic chain, automatic processes, brazing, pressure equipment, utilities, …)

 

Requirments: 

 

  • Bachelor/Master technical university degree – preferred in logistics or similar
  • Experience in engineering, internal logistics in production environment
  • Fluent English is must
  • SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) knowledge – nice to have
  • Knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD is an advantage
  • Team collaboration – works effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a cooperative and solution-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail – ensures accuracy in logistics processes, documentation, and inventory control
  • Continuous improvement attitude – actively seeks opportunities to optimize internal logistics processes and reduce waste

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Managing the process from receiving products to get on the production line
  • Initiating and implementing internal projects aimed at improving existing production planning and analysis systems
  • Close collaboration and coordination of activities between the Production and Logistics departments
  • Operating the ERP system in the area of logistics processes and monitoring the consistency between system inventory levels and the actual stock of materials
  • Cooperation with other Daikin production plants
  • Contact with production engineering suppliers, preparing documentation
  • Taking care about system flow and real flow of parts
  • Cooperation with production supervisors in the factory
