A CEREMONY THAT BRINGS PEOPLE AND CULTURES TOGETHER
The Daikin Manufacturing Poland plant is an important link in the company’s global value chain. It is here that state-of-the-art heat pumps will be produced—products that are becoming a cornerstone of the energy transition in Europe.
During the ceremony, Masanori Togawa, Representative Director, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Daikin Industries, stated: “This plant represents an important milestone in our global operations and reflects our long-standing philosophy of manufacturing close to the market. By strengthening our production presence in Europe, we can respond more quickly to local needs and build long-term partnerships in the region.”
Yasuto Hiraoka, Managing Director of Daikin Manufacturing Poland, commented: “Poland offers the capabilities and environment we need for long-term growth. Together with our partners and the local community, we aim to contribute to the sustainable development of the region while building a strong and reliable manufacturing base.”
The speakers’ remarks highlighted not only the scale of the undertaking but also its symbolic dimension. The factory in Ksawerów stands as an example of how collaboration between cultures can lead to the creation of modern, sustainable projects of global significance.
In his speech, Michał Jaros, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology, emphasized that:
“The opening of this new production facility is an important step for Poland’s industrial development and for Europe’s energy transition. Investments of this kind strengthen our manufacturing base, create high-quality jobs, and support the development of skills and innovation in the region. We appreciate Daikin’s long-term commitment to Poland and its contribution to building more sustainable and energy-efficient solutions for Europe. This project also demonstrates the importance of close cooperation between international partners, local communities, and public institutions.”
The event was given a unique character by elements inspired by Japanese tradition, which subtly combined the company’s heritage with the local context. It was a moment when precision, respect for work, and the pursuit of excellence—values deeply rooted in Japanese culture—met the energy and commitment of the team in Poland.

PEOPLE ARE AT THE HEART OF THIS INVESTMENT
For many people involved in the project, the opening of the factory was the culmination of months of intensive work, collaboration, and determination. It was their commitment that turned an ambitious vision into reality.
The plant also strengthens the “local for local” strategy, enabling faster responses to customer needs and ensuring stable supplies of energy-efficient solutions. Close collaboration with the global R&D center in Ghent (Belgium), established in 2025, will further accelerate the transfer of advanced technologies into large-scale production.
This is another step toward building a strong and sustainable future for industry. The investment reaffirms a long-term commitment to the development of the local economy. We believe that the new opportunities emerging in Ksawerów will serve as a catalyst for further innovation. It is a place where technology meets responsibility, creating a foundation for future generations.
