Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities: 

• Audits of (new) supplier companies & processes and creation of audit reports
• Verification of Mass Production stage parts (evaluation by measuremental and visual inspection) 
• Communication with suppliers/customers
• Fulfilment of the tasks resulting from the ISO standards of the established Integrated Management System for which the DMPO company will be certified (e.g. quality, environment, work safety,energy management)
• Supervision of inspection and complaints of delivered parts
• Publishing of Parts /inspection reports due to the problematic Mass Production Parts, new supplier, alternative supplier, cost reduction (new raw material etc.), localization, process change, new mould, new project, revisions and regulations
• The quality of the products delivered from the suppliers and ensuring the sustainability of this quality
• During problem analysis studies you will apply technical procedures (7 QC tools,...) correctly to ensure good quality of the analysis
• You will need to closely co-operate with colleagues from other departments (PUR & Production Planning) 
• Verification of parts as part of customer complaints (by measuremental and visual inspection) 
• Delegation of tasks within the group towards the Incoming Parts Quality Inspectors (Blue collars) 
• Creating a plan for control of supplier companies and performing the required audits & prepare the report
• Summarize & follow - up the agreed actions improvements at the respective suppliers
• Check the countermeasures as documented in the 8D reports & make the supplier anticipate actions for the new projects
• Solution of supplier complaints & feedback on consumer complaints        

Requirements: 

• Minimum Bachelor in Engineering (quality)
• Minimum 3 - 5 years in a production environment
• Good knowledge of English and problem solving techniques (8D reports)
• SAP knowledge
• Good user knowledge of PS (Windows, Microsoft Office) 
• Lean philosophy/Continously improvement, logical and decision making ability
• Qualified ISO auditor
