Engineers at Daikin Manufacturing Poland (DMPO) are responsible for the comprehensive preparation and organization of technological processes. They define production parameters, develop work standards, and create complete process documentation. It is the engineering teams who transform heat pump designs and prototypes into stable, scalable production processes, implement new technologies, supervise production line start‑ups, and cooperate with suppliers of machinery, tools, and automation solutions.

The Engineering Department manages full technical project life cycles — from needs analysis, planning, and budgeting, through installation and testing, to the handover of machines and installations for mass production. Throughout all stages, the team ensures the highest standards of quality, safety, environmental protection, and energy efficiency.

The team’s daily work is driven by the philosophy of continuous improvement. Engineers analyze production data and implement enhancements in line with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6S, and waste‑elimination methodologies, directly impacting safety, cost, quality, delivery, and efficiency (SQCDE). The department actively supports production and quality teams in solving technical issues, conducts root‑cause analyses, supervises assembly and pilot testing, and ensures that every product series meets Daikin’s stringent requirements, including those resulting from ISO management systems.

As a result, the Engineering Department at DMPO plays a central role in strengthening the position of the Ksawerów factory as one of the most advanced heat pump manufacturing facilities in Europe. Thanks to the work of engineering teams, the plant delivers on Daikin’s vision — creating innovative, energy‑efficient, and environmentally friendly solutions that support Europe’s energy transition and respond to the rapidly growing demand for heat pump technologies.
